The academics module supports multiple exam types — weekly tests, mid-terms, finals, practicals, and custom assessments — each with configurable maximum marks, weightage, and grading scales. Teachers can enter marks for individual students or import bulk results from Excel/CSV. The system automatically calculates grades based on the configured scale (A-F, 1-10, percentage, GPA 4.0, or custom thresholds).
Grading scales are fully customizable per academy, per class, or per subject. Set grade thresholds (90-100 = A+, 80-89 = A, etc.), assign grade points for GPA calculation, and define pass/fail criteria. The system handles special cases: absent students (marked AB), grace marks, re-evaluation results, and best-of-attempts tracking.
The analytics dashboard visualizes student performance over time with trend lines, comparison charts, and progress indicators. Teachers and parents can see whether a student is improving, declining, or stable across subjects and exam cycles. The system identifies students at risk of failing, subjects with class-wide performance issues, and high-performing students who may benefit from advanced material.
Class-level analytics show the distribution of grades, average scores, highest/lowest marks, and subject-wise comparison. Administrators can compare teacher effectiveness by analyzing class performance trends across sections taught by different teachers (anonymized to prevent bias). Report cards can be generated individually, by class, or by section — in bulk. Parents receive an email notification when report cards are published, and can download them from the Parent Portal.
